Caps International’s Shuttle System (patent pending) is applied after the oesophagus has been cut. In this way bacteriological infection on account of the stomach contents can be prevented. In addition to quality assurance, the Shuttle System has the following direct advantages:

The specific form of the Shuttle, in combination with the vacuum applied, ensures that the oesophagus is sealed off 100%. The Shuttle can easily resist the extremely high pressure developing during the removal of the gastrointestinal tract. Because the Shuttle does not meet with any resistance in the oesophagus, it is easy to apply. It is a much faster and user-friendly application than other method. Suitable for halal and kosjer standards.
The environment-friendly Shuttle is made from a fully biodegradable granulate, which only contains food additives which are allowed to be used in products for human consumption as well as pet food.
The lance is light and easy to handle. Made of a high-grade stainless steel, and with its solid, simple construction, the lance does not require any maintenance and can be cleaned easily and fast. The lance is connected directly to a compressed air line.
